Assoc. Professor Lois McKellar

Lois is an Associate Professor of Midwifery at the University of South Australia. She teaches into the Bachelor of Midwifery and is busy with a variety of research projects. Her PhD explored issues around the provision of postnatal care while her current research has a focus on midwifery education and perinatal wellbeing. Lois is married and has three lovely daughters and as a family, they love food, animals and the Adelaide Hills.


Dr. Tiffany De Sousa Machado

Tiffany De Sousa Machado completed her Ph.D. in Psychology and Business and is the founder and CEO of The Village Foundation.

Currently, Tiffany is lecturing within the University of Adelaide Business School, is Standards and Certification Director for Family Friendly Workplaces, in conjunction with national organization Parents at Work, and UNICEF Australia, and is developing community-based programs for wellbeing through Village Foundation. 


Cathy Stoodley

Cathy is a registered midwife working casually as a midwifery lecturer at the University of South Australia. She recently commenced her PhD to explore how midwives can provide support to women in the early postnatal period with their emerging mother-infant relationship.


Amye Eden

Amye Eden is a Lecturer in Midwifery at the University of South Australia, teaching across the program but with a particular focus on public and primary health care to support normal pregnancy and childbirth. Amye has completed postgraduate studies in perinatal mental health and is currently undertaking research in midwifery education.


Dr Jane Andrew

Jane is an educator, researcher and Fouding Director of Match Studio.

In August 2004 Jane was awarded an APAI scholarship by The University of Adelaide and commenced a PhD at the Centre for Labour Research/Australian Institute for Social Research. Jane's PhD thesis, was the primary component of an ARC Linkage Project that involved a partnership between the Centre for Labour Research and what was then the Department of the Premier and Cabinet’s, Strategic Projects Division.


Professor Tahereh Ziaian

Professor Tahereh Ziaian, is a Community Health Psychologist at the Justice and Society Academic Unit, the University of South Australia, a Visiting Professor at the University of NSW, Faculty of Medicine. She is also affiliated with UNISCO RILA (Refugee Integration through Language and the Art), Glasgow University. Her career been devoted to improving the psychological health and wellbeing of communities and minority groups from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Prof Ziaian is specialized in the field of Transcultural mental health and public health.
